Our commitment
Pagistry is committed to protecting the personal data of individuals in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR. This page explains how we meet those obligations and how you can exercise your rights.
Data controller
For personal data you provide as a Pagistry account holder, Pagistry acts as the data controller. For the content and end-user data you collect through sites you build with Pagistry, you are the controller and Pagistry acts as your data processor under a Data Processing Agreement (DPA).
Legal bases for processing
We process personal data under one or more of the following legal bases:
- Contract — to provide the Service you have signed up for.
- Consent — where you have given us permission, such as for marketing emails.
- Legitimate interests — to secure, maintain, and improve the Service.
- Legal obligation — where processing is required to comply with the law.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Request erasure of your data (“right to be forgotten”).
- Restrict or object to certain processing.
- Receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior processing.
To exercise any of these rights, reach us through our contact form. We will respond within one month, as required by the GDPR.
Data processing agreement
If you use Pagistry to process the personal data of your own users, our DPA forms part of our Terms and sets out the safeguards, sub-processors, and security measures we apply on your behalf. A copy is available on request.
International data transfers
Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA or the UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses to ensure your data receives an equivalent level of protection.
Data retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the Service and to meet our legal obligations. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
Contact & complaints
For data protection enquiries, reach our team through the contact form. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority if you believe your data has been handled unlawfully.
